At Lever Edge Primary Academy, we believe that education extends far beyond the acquisition of academic knowledge.
We believe that every child deserves a rich, ambitious, exciting curriculum that nurtures the whole person and supports them to grow academically, socially, emotionally and morally.
We aim to provide a carefully planned programme of personal development and enrichment that meets the needs of all children and ensures that every child develops the knowledge, skills, experiences and resilience needed to thrive and contribute positively to society.
This programme is woven through school life, enriching learning within the classroom and beyond. We aim to ensure that pupils develop the confidence to make informed choices, appreciate diversity, care for others and become active citizens locally, nationally and globally.

The Primary Bucket Challenge

To support our enrichment offer, our school has The Primary Bucket Challenge which details the experiences our children will be offered as they move through the school from Nursery to Year 6. Each child will have their own booklet in which to document their journey.

Further Opportunities
Our Personal Development and Enrichment Programme is brought to life through a diverse range of experiences, leadership roles, visits, visitors, clubs and community activities that extend pupils' learning beyond the taught curriculum. These opportunities provide meaningful contexts in which pupils can apply their knowledge, discover new interests, develop talents and engage with the wider world.
