NEW* Wellbeing Award Questionnaire
We are excited to announce that we are working towards achieving the Wellbeing Award for Schools. This award was developed in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau (NCB), and is intended to help schools prepare and equip themselves to promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health across the whole-school community.
The vision is to create an education system where good emotional wellbeing and mental health are at the heart of the culture and ethos of our school, so that our children, with the support of their teachers, can build confidence and flourish.
In order to make sure that we improve the support we offer, we want to understand how well we are currently supporting the emotional wellbeing of our children. For this reason, we are inviting all parents and Key Stage 2 children to complete an anonymous survey.
Child Questionnaire
If your child is in years 3, 4, 5 or 6 we are asking for your permission to invite your child to complete the survey. If you are happy for your child to do this then you don’t have to do anything. However, if you do not want your child to complete the questionnaire then please let us know as soon as possible.
Parent Questionnaire
Your views as parents are also really important and I would be grateful if you could go to the Wellbeing Award link. This will take you to a page where you can access the questionnaire. The information from the survey will help us provide even better provision for emotional wellbeing and mental health. All information collected is anonymous and will be kept confidential.
